Description
The Global 5000 program was launched in February 2002 and took its maiden flight in March 2003 as the first true derivative of the Global Express which itself entered service in 1999. Transport Canada (TC) type certification was received in March 2004, European Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) in July 2004 and the FAA in September 2004. The Global 5000 since entered service in April 2005.
